MC "Polymed" is the first private medical centre, which provides digital X-ray diagnosis. At the centre is available a new, contemporary X-ray device, mammography device and echography devices.

The usual X-ray device of General Electric gives the opportunity to perform all types of X-ray examinations. The high quality of the images is accomplished by the system of computed radiography (CR) of AGFA. Thank to the modern devices, we offer the X-ray images on electronic carrier and the information is saved with original high quality. Every patient gets electronic record - a way for implementation of telemedicine without borders.
The ultrasound diagnostic is important, often the first method of choice in radiology. In MC "Polymed" are provided four ultrasound devices with different diagnostic abilities.

It is well known, that the most common oncological disease among women is the cancer of the breast.
Each year over 3000 women get ill from a cancer of breast in Bulgaria and in the world such cases concern about 1 500 000. Clinical investigation in the USA and in Europe shows, that the early diagnosis of this disease decreases the deaths with 30% until 45% and give better chance for survival.

That’s why we use high quality, modern devices and implement yearly program for prevention of mammary and early discovery of this social important disease.
The mammography of General Electric and the system of computed radiography (CR) of AGFA ensure all conditions for excellent quality of the images and their high diagnostic worth. The devices provide the opportunity to perform of exact biopsy, localization of the disease process, enlargement of the sizes of the important parts.

In the Department of radiology are inspected patients, directed from National health insurance fund (NHIF) or by paying the accessible price list every day from 8.00 until 15.00h.
